This is a special presentation of the Today Show hosted by Jay Stoyan and he has with him about 8 to 12 fantastic musicians. All represented by Big Records! They will be discussing the 2024 ISSA Awards held in Atlanta, Georgia.
Here is a brief summary of some of them:
Shalaine Stebner: She was one of the performers and was down in Atlanta over the weekend. She is a Singer/Songwriter and won an award for one of her songs.
Rocky Michaels: He won "Song of the Year" for a song he wrote in the bronze category for "An Uncomfortable Truth" about homeless people! It was written from the perspective of a homeless person.
Dusty Marcus: He is from London, Ontario and he won for International Male Emerging Artist. And he was at home trying to figure out who won!
Paul Jupe: Paul is from the UK. He says that he was lucky enough to win a gold in Male International Songwriter of the Year. "So I'm super chuffed as we say over here!"
Brandi Huang is the lead singer for BrandiWyne. The group BrandiWyne opened the 2024 ISSA Awards Show. Brandi was also a judge.
Brian Fagan: He is with Grace Musicians Group out of Syracuse, New York. They've worked with the ISSA since the inception. They were very blessed this year because one of their artists, Sydney Irving won gold under Band Album of the Year.
Tim "The Mighty One" Steinruck: Tim Steinruck is from Vancouver, Canada. He is from the band "The Mighty One" from Vancouver Canada. He was there last year and was the first ever three-time winner of International Singer/Songwriter of the Year, Band of the Year and Album of the Year Silver - so the band went back this year for a victory lap. The band also closed the show!
Anthony Brown: He is a 24 year old R & B pop singer from Toronto, Canada and represented by Big Records.
Marie Norris: She is having bad Internet connections. But Marie is a big rig driver and country Singer/Songwriter. Also under contract for Big Records.
