For hundreds of years the southern tip of Florida has been a hangout for pirates and smugglers. Although most of the pirates are gone, tons of illegal drugs are still smuggled through this area every year. Come along as we tackle the Florida loop, also known as smuggler’s run, a boating route that circumnavigates the lower third of Florida through the Okeechobee, down one coast, around the Florida Keys and back up the other coast, to where it started.
