Every day brings new firsts for us. Leaving Sea Star anchored alone in the Gulf of Mexico and taking our dinghy to shore was frightening. Although our anchor and chain are solid, we were crossing our fingers that she wouldn’t float away so we could continue our journey to Punta Gorda. This old city has a vibrant musical scene combined with incredible history which we explored during our time there.
